In 2017, geomagnetic research was done at the degrading Gornopravdinsky burial ground. This burial is an old cemetery of the Filinskoe village which was the administrative center of the Denshchikovskaya Volost of Tobolsk District in the late 19th century. Currently it is not possible to establish the boundaries of the site, and any landscape traces of the burial ground are absent from the surface. Residential development of the present-day village is currently located on the territory of the burial ground. Preliminary geophysical study was aimed at determining the existence of graves. The survey was conducted using an EMC-49 short-range electrical unit. The analysis of the data of electromagnetic survey has determined the feasibility of using the unit for preliminary work at the sites of this type. It is possible to speak about the positive results of using geophysical instruments for establishing the boundaries of that site.
