The paper publishes the first results of the integrated analysis of materials from a mud-brick tomb (grave 631) that contained skeletons of 11 individuals with rich grave goods. The tomb functioned from the 30s of IV century BC to the first quarter of the III century BC. One of the possible interpretations of the burial construction is the variant of a family sepulcher. The bones were of poor state of preservations, yet this compact selection of anthropological materials offers a great opportunity to conduct necessary analytical studies for differentiation of the population that used the Volna 1 necropolis. The study included the stable isotope analysis of the 15N/13C ratio and the 87Sr/86Sr ratio of the bone tissue for 7 individuals. Based on the results obtained, nine buried individuals are local, including the individual that was buried first. The latest individual buried in this sepulcher is a representative of a different population group that shows the closest parallels among the human remains from the village of Veseloe (Adler district).
