Preliminary analysis of technical protection of the system of distant learning (based on Mordovia State University materials)

The article presents for the first time the methodology for the classification of information systems in analogy with distant learning systems. The methodology’s principle is based on defining essential components of secure information systems. The article’s conclusions are built on the study of distant learning systems run at Mordovia State University.
