Preferential decisions of the EAEU countries: current and prospective

The article discusses the practice of implementing preferential decisions of the EAEU countries in the context of modern transformations. The system of tariff privileges and preferences largely determines the effectiveness of foreign economic transactions concluded between partners in the EAEU space, creates conditions for current and strategic mutually beneficial cooperation. In the context of severe Western sanctions, the EAEU countries are forced to develop adequate economic programs that contribute to the full protection of the common market and increase the competitiveness of their producers. In this direction, the instruments of exemptions and restrictions for “unfriendly countries”, as well as the application of the most favored nation treatment for countries-strategic partners, become justified.
