Advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing of key business processes of an enterprise in modern conditions

The article shows that outsourcing has reached the peak of popularity over the last decade. Small enterprises and startups, medium and large companies follow the global trend of transferring business processes to outsourcing teams. It is emphasized that enterprises use outsourcing primarily to reduce costs. However, today, in the context of the global COVID-19 pandemic, it is not only about reducing costs, but also about taking advantage of strategic outsourcing, such as access to qualified specialists, reducing overhead costs, flexible staffing and increasing efficiency, reducing work execution time and, ultimately, obtaining higher profits. As a result of the study, the advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing business processes of the enterprise are highlighted. It is concluded that, as in the case of any other business project, proper planning and research is necessary before choosing an outsourcing partner. When transferring a number of business processes to third-party organizations, it is important to understand in advance what specific business operations the selected outsourcing company will be able to perform quickly, efficiently and efficiently. This will allow the company not only to reduce costs, innovate and grow, but also to gain a competitive advantage in the market.
