Overcoming coordination difficulties in teaching police officers combat techniques at the initial stage of training

The article deals with the problem of overcoming coordination difficulties among cadets and police officers at the initial stage of mastering combat techniques of wrestling. The key role of the development of special dexterity and coordination abilities for the effective and safe formation of motor skills adequate to the conditions of operational and official activity is revealed. The authors analyzed the specific features of BPB, substantiated the sequence of formation of motor skills. Special attention is paid to the teaching methodology, including the use of summing up and simulation exercises. A structured methodology is presented, integrating the method of holistic learning, the method of dismembered constructive exercise (leading exercises), methods of variable exercise, and the game method. The results of the analysis allow us to formulate universal methodological recommendations that contribute to faster and better mastering of technical actions and reduce muscle fatigue.
