The article draws attention to a number of features of the investigation of corruption crimes committed by traffic police officers. They must be taken into account in the proof process. These features create difficulties, the overcoming of which largely determines the success in establishing the circumstances of the commission of a crime and exposing the guilty person. The problems of investigating corruption crimes committed by traffic police officers include the resistance provided by the perpetrators and some other persons to the establishment of the truth. Therefore, it is currently urgent to overcome such opposition. The success of the entire further investigation, including the exposure of the culprit, depends on the correctness of the identification of data about the committed crime and the participation of the relevant person in it. An important factor that can negatively affect the process of identification and investigation is the opposition on the part of the traffic police officers guilty of a corruption crime. In this regard, one of the tasks is to overcome the opposition on the part of the perpetrator of a corruption crime and persons sympathizing with him. During the investigation, the investigator must take into account the official powers of the culprit, his existing relations with other officials, the authority acquired through the status of an official to prevent him from opposing the ongoing investigation. To do this, in addition to conducting investigative and other procedural actions, it is necessary to make extensive use of information received from law enforcement units authorized to conduct operational investigative activities.
