Teaching of history in a technical higher school: modern approaches under the requirements of the federal state educational standards

This article deals with an issue of the history teaching in the technical higher school. The federal state educational standards of the third generation include competencies, the acquirement of which are determined by the history study. Reduction of academic hours sets a task of new approaches to the discipline teaching. The authors analyze experience of the academics working at the History and Public Relations Department of the Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev.
