Economic crimes committed by organized criminal groups: myth or reality

The subject of the research is the legal models of crimes in the sphere of economic activity, which include the element “commission of an act by organized groups” as a qualifying feature. With the involvement of statistical data for 2003-2018 the author notes the increase in the share of such crimes in the total mass of all crimes of economic orientation, draws attention to the imperfection of some legal models of crimes in the sphere of economic activity, justifies the need to make changes to the current legislation, recognizes the futile line of ignoring the real processes of using hierarchical links between elements of legal entities for criminal purposes.
