Juvenile crime: status and trends

The article presents the results of the comparative analysis of juvenile crime in the Russian Federation, Northwestern Federal District and Vologda Oblast. It contains the data on the status, level, structure and dynamics of juvenile crime. The article also highlights the problems resulting from the processes of liberalization of the criminal legislation and the reform of the penal system.
