Presentation - the causes of development in the remote form of work and the relationship with the emotional state

The article is devoted to the study of the influence of presenteeism - the habit of being in the workplace without working productively - on the emotional state of employees, as well as the reasons for its development. The object of the study is digital presenteeism, a subspecies of presenteeism that develops among employees who work remotely. As a research goal, the author identified an attempt to assess the relationship between digital presenteeism and the mental state of an employee, as well as to identify the causes of its occurrence. The method chosen is the study of domestic and foreign works on this topic. The article deals with the causes of the emergence of presenteeism, and also discusses its types. Based on the studied works, conclusions are drawn about how digital presenteeism affects remote employees and what consequences it entails. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of the harm of presenteeism for business, as well as ways to solve this problem are proposed.
