Baltic states and Finland in a territorial system of Russian empire: the status specificity and ethnopolitical situation

The article reveals the specificity of the Baltic lands (Estland, Kurland, Liflyandii) and Finland in a territorial system of the Russian Empire. It considers a correlation between colonization and expansion as the factors of imperial territorial complex formation. The article gives the description of the Baltic-Finnish colonization model.
