Precision instruments and methods of study of structure and spatial coordinates of some kinds rock drawings (on materials by Northern Khakasia)

In the paper, methods of securing in field conditions, by sight, the precise measurements of distances and angles between separate figures, symbols and signs represented in compositions of rock drawings, those placed on curvilinear surfaces, are examined. Such task in the study of the latter was set by the authors because formerly, more than once, they were convinced in practice that it was impossible to achieve the admissible precision of measurements on mica lamina copies in consequence of the inevitable distortion of mutual disposition of figures when they are copied onto the elastic material.
