Meat and meat products are the basis of human life, so the provision of these products to the population of the country is one of the priorities for ensuring food security. On the example of the production of beef cattle in the article features are revealed the caus and effect relations of meat products subcomplex efficiency. The modern estimation of a condition of meat products subcomplex is given and the author’s vision of influence of cause and effect relations on efficiency of its functioning is presented. Relations with positive and negative effect on meat products subcomplex are shown in the article. Made the analysis of statistical information for 2017 year on research topic. As a result of the analysis, the author came to the conclusion that there is a positive dynamics of development of meat products subcomplex, but there are factors that do not contribute to its development.
