Factors of 5-year pupils anxiety are shown in the paper. These factors stipulate the level of disadaptation to studying at a secondary school. The resuls of 3-years lasting researches (2007-2010) characterizing the dynamics of the level of adaptation of 5-year pupils studying at a secondary school are also described in the paper.
