Causes and conditions of victimization of minors

The article is devoted to the consideration of the most relevant causes and conditions of victimization of minors today. The relevance of the topic under consideration lies in the tendency of committing crimes of varying severity against children and adolescents who are susceptible to becoming victims of criminal acts due to various factors. It can be argued that this particular category of citizens becomes the most victimized due to their age characteristics, as well as due to the influence of external determinants. This article presents concepts related to the science of victimology, analyzes the causes of victimization of this category of persons, and suggests preventive measures aimed at reducing the level of this victimization.
