The causes of corruption crime in internal affairs bodies

Classification of causes of corruption in internal affairs bodies is provided in the article. Specific causes of crime of corruption in internal affairs bodies are analyzed by levels and domains. The mechanism of forming individual criminal behavior of a person committing crimes of corruption as well as its elements including moral and psychological properties, criminogenic motivation and life situation are econsidered in the article. The role of economic and political causes of corruption among officers of internal affairs bodies is demonstrated. The socio-economic causes of corruption in law enforcement bodies such as legal nihilism, the presence of a rating system in law enforcement bodies, a huge amount of work, etc. are revealed in the article. The results of a survey on the causes of corruption crime among law enforcement officers are presented.
