Late XIX century for gold industry, and mining industry of the Yenisei province as a whole, served as the time of decline in the efficiency of enterprises, which was associated with the problems in gold industry itself. Besides, economic crisis of 1899-1905 in the country served as one more, not less important reason of stagnation and decline at the mountain enterprises. The construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway led to the fact that backward and underdeveloped gold mining enterprises could not compete with the Urals products. The raw materials of Siberia were sold to the Urals for almost nothing, where it was processed and already several times more expensive, but they were sold back to Siberia as a product. Among other things, the problem of the fact that since the 1870-s in the Yenisei province no single large gold-bearing placer had been discovered or had been revealed. The deposits that began to be developed from this period of time were explored a long time ago, and therefore many industrialists had to accept the fact that they could not find more new rich gold deposits in this region...
