Determination of the causes of patients undergoing orthodontic treatment incompetent behavior

The article presents the results of a questionnaire survey of patients undergoing orthodontic treatment in Volgograd State Medical University Dental clinic, held in order to determine the reasons for their noncompliant behavior. It was found that the main reason for noncompliance is insufficient motivation, which can be significantly increased by establishing a trusting relationship between a doctor and an orthodontic patient, the maximum knowledge of the treatment plan, the doctor's qualification, the advantages of the methods and apparatus used.
