This article describes possible reasons why Volgograd region’s people’s expenses were greater than their income in 2011, 2014, and 2015. Changes of exchange rate, expenses for foreign exchanges and real estate buying, expenses for savings, expenses for mandatory payments and different dues, birth rate, salary level, and goods prices were considered as likely causes.
