Transnistria: problems of the statehood formation and development

The article considers and analyzes the problems of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic state construction. The authors reveal in detail the process of formation, perfection and development of the Pridnestrovian statehood; describe the institutions of power and government leading in this process and examine the way of changing of the Pridnestrovian political leaders who influenced the statehood formation. A particular attention is paid to the political activity in the statehood designing conducted by the last two presidents of Transnistria - Evgeny Shevchuk and Vadim Krasnoselsky and to the reforms carried out by them. Besides, the authors assess their public management. The conclusion is drawn that the process of state formation in Transnistria has come to an end, its strengthening and improvement is under way.
