Techniques of compositional solution in contemporary works of hand weaving - the tapiseriya

The article deals with the research of compositional techniques in works of hand weaving - tapiseriya. The classification of the hand weaving is given in the article. Features of compositional solutions of decorative composition of tapiseriya are presented. Special attention is given to the description of such techniques as generalization, stylization and transformation of image with the purpose of creating the most expressive image in decorative composition. Modern trends of tapiseriya development are described on the example of works of workshop "Interlacing" at the department of the decorative and applied arts in Samara state institute of culture.
