The methods of cultivation of sunflower hybrid seeds and their economic efficiency in southern forest-steppe of Western Siberia

Scientifically proved technological methods of seed production for the new certified sunflower hybrids of VNIIMK breeding in Western Siberia were developed and recommended for seed production. The most rational combination of parental components for hybridization plots was revealed. High economic efficiency of sunflower hybrid seed production in Western Siberia is shown. The obtained data will allow to carry out sunflower hybrid seed production more effectively in Western Siberia and neighbouring regions with similar soil-climatic conditions in future.
