Applied aspects of the development of domestic scientific communication

The article analyzes the applied aspects of the development of domestic scientific communication. Based on statistical data, supplemented by materials from a thematic selection of online and offline publications TASS, Vedomosti and Okna Growth, the problem of popularizing scientific knowledge for a wide range of the public is considered. The authors reveal the actual and popular formats for presenting scientific information, the factors that cause semantic gaps on the way from the researcher to the final consumer of information. Particular attention is paid to the popularization of scientific ideas in the field of social sciences and the humanities. The paper study the features of scientific popularization for the social sciences and humanities, concerning both the selection of formats and the specifics of content development. The conclusion is made about the prospects of holding organizational, event and media events for the development of external scientific communication oriented to a wide range of the public.
