Application software programs as formation tools of the information competence of bachelors majored in agri-engineering while study ing general technical disciplines

The article deals with the problem of the informatization of the educational process in the study of the disciplines of the general technical course. The article shows the urgency of the use of information technologies at the initial stage of the training of the students majored in Agri-engineering. It also provides an example of the use of applications in the study of such subjects as Theoretical Mechanics and Strength of Materials. Besides, it considers the gradual formation of the information competence through the example of solving a standard task of Strength of Materials discipline.
