Amlodipini in the management of hypertensive patients with gout

The aim of the present work was a detailed study of questions connected with the peculiarities of circadian blood pressure profile, efficiency of amlodipine in patients with gout and arterial hypertension. We used 24-hour blood pressure monitoring before and after 3-months treatment. Patients with gout showed the disturbances of circadian blood pressure profile (Non-dipper). Prolonged calcium antagonists are the best drugs for the hypertensive patients with gout.
