Application of digital technologies in wastewater disposal system management: automation of processes, monitoring and forecasting

The article considers the use of digital technologies in wastewater disposal system management. The main areas are analyzed: automation of operations, monitoring of infrastructure condition and application of forecasting methods. The emphasis is placed on the advantages of implementing sensor devices, Internet of Things platforms and artificial intelligence algorithms to improve the efficiency and reliability of systems. Examples of successful application of digital tools in international practice are given, and the difficulties associated with updating outdated communications are discussed.
