Application of soil herbicides under oil flax

Herbicides permitted for application on oil flax have not been still registered in the “State catalog of pesticides and agricultural chemicals” which can be used on the territory of the Russian Federation. It was a reason of our research. We studied impact of soil herbicides on weeds prevalence, phytotoxicity and productivity of oil flax on fields (leached chernozem) of the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops, Krasnodar, in 2017-2018. Studied preparations and doses were as following: Dual Gold, CE (1.6 l per ha), Frontier Optima, CE (1.2 l per ha), Gardo Gold, CS (4 l per ha), mixture of Dual Gold, CE (1.6 l per ha) and Gezagard, CS (3.5 l per ha). Application of these herbicides in mentioned rates decreased weeds infestation in oil flax sowings.
