The use of knowledge graphs as an element of intellectual production (using the example of the manufacturing industry in China)

With the accumulation of data assets and the rapid development of information technology, intelligent manufacturing has become an important driving force contributing to the era of Industry 4.0. The knowledge graph (knowledge maps) confidently demonstrates its unique value and potential in the field of enterprise management of various specializations as a tool that allows you to systematically organize and express large amounts of data, as well as quickly use them in accordance with the needs of production. The author gives a description of this way of organizing work with information in an enterprise from a management perspective, describes the advantages of using knowledge graphs for this purpose, analyzes the possibilities of their practical application, and evaluates the prospects for future development. The article presents the main concepts, methods for constructing knowledge graphs, and scenarios for their application in intelligent manufacturing using the example of China’s manufacturing industry. However, the main focus is on analyzing the “hot spots” of this technology and the difficulties of its implementation.
