Application of information modeling for automated selection of agricultural technologies in crop production

The process of crop production is characterized by a large volume of diverse information flows with various ways of obtaining, transmitting and processing information necessary when choosing technologies to determine the entire range of work, from soil preparation and seeds to harvesting. The use of digital technologies for processing and analyzing such volumes of information significantly increases the efficiency of production by making effective management decisions. An information model of the process of automated technology selection is proposed based on the analysis of the main scientific and methodological components of grain cultivation technologies and information modeling for a holistic and formalized description of the functioning of this subject area. The inclusion of blocks of initial information, selection of technologies and equipment, as well as energy supply of field work based on monitoring of energy parameters of machine-tractor units is justified in the model. The software package developed on the basis of the proposed information model will allow automating the process of forming the annual planning of work, offering scientifically-based alternative options for agricultural technologies and rational use of the agricultural enterprise's MTP; ensuring an increase in the efficiency and competitiveness of the crop farming enterprise.
