The use of information technology in elective classes in mathematics

The article deals with the application of information technologies in elective classes in mathematics. Information technologies make it possible to significantly modify the whole process of learning, it makes it possible to implement a model of person-oriented learning, to intensify classes, and, most importantly, to improve the self-training of students. Modern computer and interactive software and methodological support require changing the form of communication between the teacher and the learner, turning the training into business cooperation. This reinforces the motivation for learning, leads to the need to search for new occupation models, conduct final control (reports, reports, public protection of group design work), increase the individuality and intensity of training.
