Ivabradine application in patients with the cardiorespiratory pathology

The article is devoted to studying of Ivabradine (koraksan, «Servier») influence on prophylaxis of cardiovascular complications among patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease associated with ischemic heart disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in combination with metabolic syndrome. It is established that Ivabradine can be applied among patients with obstructive diseases and cardiorespiratory pathology to prevent cardiovascular complications. Ivabradine authentically reduces frequency of stenocardia attacks and duration of painless myocardial ischemia, normalizes ventilation-perfusion ratio, positively influences on arterial pressure among patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in association with metabolic syndrome, raises patients’ tolerance to physical activity and reduces a risk of sudden coronary death in the patients.
