Application of circular economy elements in agribusiness of the region

The article considers the current situation in the circular economy. It has been established that there is a significant increase in production of consumption waste in all sectors of the country's economy, including agriculture and manufacturing. In light of this, we have proposed two projects for implementing biological cycles in agriculture. In addition, the article presents an analysis of using post-harvest residues in agriculture on the example of agricultural enterprises in Krasnodar Krai. It has been found that processed post-harvest residues have a large amount of nutrients and could be used as fertilizers, which will contribute to soil fertility, fair yields and high quality of growing crops. Thus, the potential of post-harvest residues can serve as a source of renewable resources and have a positive effect on the sustainability of agricultural systems. Based on the results of the study, we have come to the conclusion about the need for introducing circular economy tools to improve the fertility of agricultural lands.
