Application of elements of Chinese traditional culture in modern artistic design

The subject of the research is the use of elements of traditional Chinese culture in modern Chinese art design. The purpose of the work is to analyze the integration of the achievements of traditional culture into contemporary Chinese art. Research methods: analysis of symbols and elements of traditional Chinese culture, analysis of works of modern Chinese design. Results of the work: the spheres of application of elements of traditional Chinese culture in the modern artistic design of China are considered, the existing problems are analyzed and practical recommendations are proposed to solve them. The scope of the results: the teaching of art disciplines in Chinese universities and colleges, cultural and educational work among the Chinese population, the creation of works of art. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that it not only summarizes the use of the artistic traditions of the Chinese people in modern art design, but also analyzes the problems associated with this and suggests specific ways to solve these problems. Conclusions: atpresent, the degree of use ofelements of traditional artistic culture is actively growing in Chinese design. However, while they are still not used enough; if they are used, then not all designers fully understand the meanings and values behind them, which often leads to simplification and distortion of the traditional heritage.
