Application of energy methods to reduce the costs of autotechnical expertise

Бесплатный доступ

The article discusses the possibility of using energy methods to identify damage that a vehicle receives as a result of a road traffic accident (RTA). The use of energy methods to create models of vehicles and their elements simplifies and accelerates the conduct of autotechnical research in the investigation of an accident. An example of calculating the energy spent on the deformation the section of the car bottom, presented using cubic spline functions is considered.
