The use of energy-saving transformers in the regional networks

This article analyzes the losses in electric networks on the example of one of the districts of electrical networks. The components of the total losses - technical and commercial part - are discussed. It was noted that most of the transformers in the electrical networks has exhausted its resources. Their further use increases the losses and therefore increases costs. It is suggested to use energy-saving transformers with reduced losses. The effectiveness of their application is evaluated.
