Application of finite-difference methods for calculating oil pool parameters using MathCAD package

Equations for calculating oil pool pressure are presented. The paper describes the possibilities of finite-difference methods for estimating the parameters of an inhomogeneous reservoir. The capabilities of finite-difference methods and MathCAD package in the calculation of oil pool parameters are systematized. The problems of performing calculations using finite-difference methods and MathCAD are shown.
