Application of finite wave elements for waves propagation computing in branched systems

When frame, branched structures like cooling or ventilation systems are designed, the problem of radiated noise is usually arises. To calculate expected noise one should know vibrations in components of a system. New technique for computing of vibration propagation in branched systems is considered in the paper. Finite Wave Elements simulation (some version of FEM) is used. Possibility of propagation of finite number of waves is taken into account.
