The article explores the application of Newton's method for solving problems of life insurance and insurance annuities. The methods for determining interest rates in problems of life insurance and insurance annuities are specifically shown. The cases of applicability of this method are shown and algorithms for calculating indicators and listing code in the python programming language are constructed.
