Application of the Olson model in combination with panel analysis for the evaluation of companies in the industry of ferrous metallurgy of the Russian Federation

In this article, the Olson model (EBO) is tested in combination with a panel data structure for assessing the valuation of companies in the ferrous metallurgy industry of the Russian Federation according to RAS data. Three variants of panel data models were tested, among which the most successful one was selected based on special tests. The selected model was tested for autocovariance and heteroscedasticity. Based on the simulation results, conclusions are drawn about the feasibility of using the Olson model on the example of data from the selected industry in combination with panel analysis. Practical tasks are indicated, which helps to solve this approach to evaluation.
