The article is devoted to the theoretical and practical application of visual aids for the study of intercultural features in teaching and understanding the reading of texts in the native language according to the PIRLS requirements, as well as assessing reading skills in primary school children in modern society, including education. Particular attention is paid to the use of various methods to manifest the potential of the growing generation in the field of reading texts, memorizing key points and oral presentation of the essence of the text. The main advantage of the new model is openness for dialogue and communication and the possibility of independence.
