In article results of tests of nanostructured silver-diamond and chrome-diamond coverings are resulted. It is established, that on wear resistance of silver coverings essential influence renders materials of a sub-strate and a counterbody. It is shown, that wear resistance of coverings in bases of drilling bits is defined by reserve of applied material plasticity.
