Application of narrative analysis in the studies of culture: pro et contra

The article presents critical reflection of narrative methodology application. The analysis of basic critical theories has shown that despite the presence of restrictive characteristics in the narrative analysis, it answers the tasks of the humanities knowledge. The author considers the issue of the International Journal of Cultural Research concerned with the 'narrative turn ' as a successful example of the narrative methodology application in the cultural studies.
