Application of non-tariff measures of regulation of foreign trade activity at the present stage

The article discusses the application of non-tariff measures to regulate foreign trade activities. Any state is interested not only in building up foreign trade relations, but also in protecting its economic interests. In this regard, the state has a need to regulate foreign trade using non-tariff measures. The article examines the application of non-tariff measures to regulate foreign trade activities in the context of sanctions. This is because non-tariff measures fulfill protectionist objectives and work more effectively in the short term than tariff regulation. The purpose of the article is to consider the system of measures of non-tariff restrictions on foreign trade activity and identify ways to improve it.
