The application of non-tariff restrictions in customs practice in the USA

The article defines and analyzes the essence of non-tariff regulation and the non-tariff measures used in international trade in goods. The article considers the experience of applying non-tariff restrictions on international trade in the customs practice of developed countries, in the practice of the United States. The American mechanism of non-tariff regulation of foreign trade is investigated. The conclusion is made about the growing level of tension in the US trade relations with other countries.
