Application of domestic CAD/CAM/CAE systems in additive manufacturing

The main focus of the work is on the use of modern domestic CAD/CAM/CAE systems in additive manufacturing. Such software packages as SPRUTKAM, KOMPAS 3D are considered. A distinctive feature of these programs is the transformation of the classical trajectory of subtractive processing into an additive trajectory of the tool. The basis for the emergence of these additive trajectories is milling. It was this that initiated the development of control programs for additive manufacturing.
