Application of polymers in the construction industry

Polymeric materials make up the largest growth area in building materials. These include plastics, rubbers, thermoplastic elastomers, adhesives, foams, paints and sealants. The most common polymers in the following elements are: floors, windows, cladding, drainage system, pipes, membranes, sealing, glazing, insulation and signage.
