Application of preconditioning to accelerate computations in dynamic aeroelasticity problems

The paper addresses the problem of accelerating computations in solving dynamic aeroelasticity problems, which are crucial for aircraft design. The authors present a method that utilizes preconditioning of iterative algorithms to find solutions to linear algebraic equations. These equations arise during the discretization of motion equations. The study demonstrates that the use of preconditioners based on domain decomposition significantly reduces computation time and improves the efficiency of solving dynamic aeroelasticity problems. A comparison of different preconditioning methods has been conducted, confirming the high effectiveness of the proposed approach. The results of the research can be recommended for practical application in the aerospace industry, contributing to the acceleration of aircraft design and development processes.
