Application of Ilmetin preparation for acute disorders of digession in the calves

The wide spread of gastrointestinal diseases of young animals of farm animals requires the improvement of existing and simultaneously finding new more effective drugs in this area. Considering this, we carried out a wide production test, recommended for gastrointestinal diseases of young animals of agricultural animals, herbal preparation Ilmetin (Patent of the Russian Federation). Studies were carried out in the cattle-breeding farm of the Rybno-Sloboda district of the RT on 24 newborn calves with signs of a disorder of the gastrointestinal tract. Ilmetin was administered intraperitoneally, and in particularly severe clinical course, it was simultaneously per os. From the results of the conducted measures it was established that in 2-3 days, after the treatment, the patients improve general clinical indices, and in two weeks hematological and biochemical blood indices. Wide production use of the drug on a large number of calves, confirmed its effectiveness.
