Application of the logistics principles in the procurement system optimization

The effectiveness of government's works and the life of citizens are determined by quality of the public procurement system. In this system, significantfinancial resources are accumulated. In 2019, the amount of purchases amounted to almost a third of the country's GDP. The article considers the positive aspects of the existing contract system, the shortcomings in its functioning and the state program for further development, based on the scientific principles of logistics.
